How to Avoid Wrist Pain in Yoga

Regular yoga practice is great! However, some days I start feeling pain in my wrist. Think about all of the yoga poses that require wrist strength.

Arm balances
Chatarangas
Head stand
Wheel
Plank
The list goes on. I learned that wrist pain can be avoided by simply correcting the pressure you apply onto your hand. Duh! Right?! It has significantly decreased the pain in my wrist!
